try and understand why Simon passed out
after he broke his collarbone falling
off a mountain bike
so I just had a chat with one of our
Consultants so he's going to order a
scan of your chest it might be easy for
her to you know just do a bit more

I didn't really know what was going on
at the time to be honest I remember

Midwife when it was coming out it was

Simon has been escalated to recess and I
take it someone's explained you're
injury in this this air inside
scan results have revealed he has a
punctured lung and will need an
emergency chest drain to release the
trapped air so in these situations
sometimes you can allow the air to go by
itself it does take quite a long time or
you can help the situation by popping
this drain
we only put in chest strains to patients
if they really need them
because it's a very invasive procedure
but without a chest strain patients can
get sick very quickly

me and my wife's death was together best
part of 30 years
it's not until the kids grew up we
realize hold on a minute yeah we're not
perfect together are we yeah and then I
was out all week on the lorries
and you know I think that's a good
factoring why we actually split up I
don't know I miss her sometimes

I think oh I need to ring her up and ask
her what she thinks on this and then you
think oh no you know I can't do that

and I think about when we all wake up
together or we're all in the same room I

around and I know that I know they're
always looking out for me
